Our Mission

The Libyan Democratic Institute (LDI) is committed to the principles of peace, democracy, and stability. Only through these tenets will the people of Libya begin to unify around a shared vision for the future of the country.

LDI aims to take a forward-looking approach to the issues facing Libya since the fall of the Gaddafi regime.

 

Creating an environment of prosperity for Libya will require a strong effort to foster deliberation between the conflicting parties in the nation. LDI looks to encourage this by hosting events to discuss the major issues and by producing policy papers which offer coherent and agreeable strategies to overcome these difficulties.
