During  his recent visit to London, LDI Chairman Moin Kikhia  had a number of valuable meetings with representatives of the British Government, both in the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and at Westminster, in the Houses of Parliament. This was important, as with a new Labour Government now in place, he wanted to ensure that there was real awareness in the UK concerning the importance of Libya today, and the international significance of what may happen next.  Mr Kikhia reported that he  was very happy at the level of interest shown, adding that  “This is something to build on”.

Moin Kikhia is seen here at Westminster with Lord McNichol, Patron of the Labour Middle East Council.
